![]() ![]() Use a guide to find your main city's first Trust NPC, they're what make the game solo-able.This is vital for getting around the pitiful 30 item inventory. ![]() You can access most of your Mog Wardrobe from anywhere, not just the Mog House.I use that to somewhat replicate the FFXIV experience because NPCs talking in the same window as random chat spam is annoying. You can have two chat windows and make it so one of them is just story dialogue. The rewards also aren't great from what I've played so far. It can be fun but a lot of them rely on random drops which is a lot to keep track of. "Quests" meanwhile are not very well signposted and require thinking and not just running to waypoints. The gate guards give you "Missions" which is the name for the story stuff. You'd have to really commit to seeing everything in a free trial though, which is a 30 day limit unlike FFXIV. Very much a product of its time.īut once you figure everything out it becomes pretty good. I've been chipping away at it solo as I caught up in XIV, and it's. ![]() maybe? Is there any FF XI veterans here willing to help with these questions, like how the game is faring today? Is it still worth a try for this little marathon I'm making or should I just skip it altogether in favor of XIV? I know XI was pretty good back in the day and it probably still is. But what about XI? Can I even try it? Is there a free trial like FF XIV? Where can I find it? Can I experience a good chunk of the game's story through this free trial like I can do it with XIV? I can even buy the game on steam and pay through Steam Wallet and all that. I know that XIV is still receiving a lot of attention and even an expansion in 2021. I had a HUGE Final Fantasy itch earlier this year and in order to scratch it I am playing all mainline games in order of their release (I am currently of Final Fantasy V) and there are only two Final Fantasy mainline games that I had never played: XI and XIV. Hello Era, I have a question regarding Final Fantasy XI. ![]()
